Gung hay fat choi and happy new year! It's time to ring in the year of the Rabbit.
I'm Chinese-American, but I can definitely tell y'all that I should be the last person to offer Chinese recipes to ring in an auspicious New Year. So, I will leave only my best wishes to everyone for a wonderful, healthy, and prosperous year! I hope you have the opportunity to celebrate with family and friends and, as we always do, eat really, really well.
Happy New Year!
Photography note: Many thanks to Melissa of Eyes Bigger Than My Stomach for being the inspiration for this photo. Her cranberry shot was so cheerful, so bright, that it seemed perfect for ringing in a new year. White foam core board, natural light coming at 12 o'clock and 3 o'clock. 50mm, 4.0f, 1/80, +1 on the exposure, ISO 1600 (light is natural, but a little low at the time this photo was taken).
